When you only get to hold an auction once, you have to pick the right auctioneer. Goodrich Auction Service Inc. has been conducting successful auctions since 1973.

Here’s what we do, and how we would conduct your auction;

Sale preparations :
• Get a list of items to be sold, and take pictures of prime pieces.
• Turn that list into an attractive sale bill.
• Prepare items for auction. Our help will make a clean, organized layout of your auction.
• Tag and organize lots so bidders can easily follow the process of the auction.

Advertise: Advertise in local and regional prominent papers, plus our direct mailing, and advertise your auction on the Internet.

Assistance: We provide assistance to buyers in removal of items. We have loaders and forklifts as needed. We take care of all of the many little details that help make your auction successful, such as: Rent a John, delivery services, quick lunch stand, direction arrows to auction site, and parking. Also, we’re around full-time, so feel free to call us and ask us questions.

After the auction, we will not leave you with a big mess. We make buyers remove purchases in a timely manor. Garbage generated at the auction will be picked up and removed.

We accept payment from the public and are responsible to you for payment. You do not have to worry about bounced checks, etc. We are registered to collect sales tax. You will have full accounting of what your items sold for.

We carry liability insurance covering your auction on auction day. We will hold an auction preview before the auction. We are members of the NAA and NYSAA.
